My photography is heavily influenced by cinema, particularly the work of directors like David Lynch and Stanley Kubrick. I am drawn to the way their films use color, lighting, and composition to create atmospheres that are both unsettling and visually compelling. In this portfolio, I create images that feel more cinematic than purely documentary. Whether photographing a portrait or an empty space, I try to evoke within a single frame the same emotional tension and atmosphere that many films build over time. I want each image to suggest a larger story while remaining open to interpretation. At the same time, this work represents an ongoing process of experimentation, as I continue exploring how cinematic techniques can translate into still photography.
